Hi! I'm Francesca,

a mom of two boys and a dog named Bruno, wife, daughter, and sister, a lover of butterflies, Italy, period dramas, celebrations, anything that sparkles, and connecting to the world around me! I married my husband in 2012, became a mom in 2015, had a miscarriage in 2018, had my second baby in 2020, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Primary Mediastinal Large B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma cancer four months after, went into cancer remission in 2021, lost my dad to Multiple Myeloma in 2022, and started what I thought was my dream job two weeks later. In 2025, my husband was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer, I decided to publicly share my story, and become a full time entrepreneur. I am sharing all of this with you because we all go through things in life. Both happy and hard. The various life events I experienced caused me to think about how I want to live and move forward because life just looks different after going through “stuff.” Each time I moved forward, I re-evaluated priorities and identified the things in life that give me purpose and meaning, and started to align my life so that it authentically reflected who I am.

On the topic of purpose and meaning,

I started three people focused companies, Lux.Cor.Vitae. (transformational life coaching), FLB Coachsulting (corporate executive coaching and workplace transformation consulting), and The Flutter Express, a transportation service connecting customers to destinations with world-renowned healthcare institutions that provide the care they need. I am taking my skills, life experiences, and my inclusive people-centric approach to culture, and investing them into three businesses that I believe will help make this world a better place by prioritizing the people who live in it.

Before starting my companies, I worked for Amazon for three years. At Amazon, I led proactive employee relations efforts for their global corporate businesses, impacting more than 15,000 employees, primarily in the entertainment industry. During my time there, I coached leaders and teams and consulted with them on their areas of opportunity as well as proactive solutions to improve employee and workplace experience. I also consulted on high profile people and culture integration strategies for mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining Amazon, I was Director, People and Culture for five years at a fast-growing cybersecurity company, GreyCastle Security. I actively led the company’s HR and Culture strategy, developed and operationalized the company’s values, created the company’s organizational design to scale, facilitated leadership and team offsites, and more! My work at GreyCastle Security resulted in the company doubling its talent YoY, achieving a 95% talent retention rate, and more than fifteen remarkable workplace culture accolades, including being nationally recognized as a Best Workplace by Inc. Magazine in 2020.

Before joining GreyCastle Security, I worked as an Associate Consultant and Strategy Partner at The Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group, Inc. (KJCG) for six and a half years. During my time there, I facilitated client education sessions and offsites, coached leaders and teams, developed and executed $1-10MM consulting interventions, and served as strategy project leader on various client engagements. As a consultant, my work took me around the world, into many industries from pharmaceutical manufacturing to fashion, as well as global Fortune 100 companies, municipalities, colleges, and large not-for-profit organizations.

Since 2011, I have participated in speaking engagements across the country.

From 2011 to 2014, I facilitated a personal development workshop at Camp Rising Sun, a leadership program for extraordinary teens. In 2014, I co-keynoted Inclusion as the HOW® for Transformation at the University of Wisconsin Cooperative County Extension Leadership Conference for 600 attendees. Within the Capital District, in 2017, I was a panelist on the diversity and inclusion panel for Women@Work’s first New York State Women’s Summit, and solo presenter for The Downtown Troy Business Improvement District Series, Creating and Sustaining a Best Place to Work Starts with YOU for capital district business owners.

I have remained active in giving back to community throughout my career. I coordinate and emcee the bi-annual Troy 100 Forum (for government, religious and community leaders to discuss issues vital to the future of Troy, New York), and started doing so in 2013. I have served on the Board of Directors of the YWCA of the Greater Capital Region from 2016-2024, Josephs House and Shelter from 2016-2017, and the Troy 2020 board from 2015-2017. During my cancer journey, I raised money for The Albany Medical Center Foundation impacting the D4 East cancer unit to purchase PPE for nurses and staff, and in memory of my father in 2022 for Multiple Myeloma research at the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center. In October of 2021, I began mentoring patients going through their own cancer journeys, and curating care packages for recently diagnosed cancer patients.

I am bilingual in English and Italian, hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Lally School of Management & Technology. I am also a Lean Six Sigma–certified Green Belt, certified Master Professional Life Coach, and received my Wellness Counseling certificate in 2024 from Cornell University. I am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Organizational Development Network, WELCOA, and National Wellness Institute, as well as many other professional organizations in upstate NY.
